This position potentially works Monday-Thursday, before and/or after school hours. Qualifications include: one-year certificate from college; three to six months childcare or youth-related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidates must have the ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles; ability and desire to work with elementary and/or middle school children; working knowledge of computers and experience with a variety of software applications. The Activity Leader will assist the site coordinator in the planning, developing, and implementing of classroom activities for after school programs at local schools. This position requires face-to-face leadership in this program and may involve early morning responsibilities.
This position is full-time. Qualifications include MA in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field and an Early Childhood ZS (General and Special Education) Endorsement from the State of Michigan, Department of Education. Candidates with a BA only must have the ZS endorsement. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed childcare center director is required. The CDC Director will be responsible for overall operations of the center including child/family recruitment, enrollment and engagement; referrals; curriculum; maintain compliance will all state licensing regulations, NAEYC accreditation and Star Rater scores; maintain food program; staffing/training and professional development; fiscal management; center facility and grounds management; and assist with agency-wide initiatives.
This position is full-time, Monday – Friday. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or degree of like field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a non-profit setting. Candidate must have exceptionally strong writing skills, the ability to turn assignments around quickly and multi-task. They must also be very organized, able to work independently and trust-worthy with confidential information. Required is a working knowledge of computers and experience with a variety online and software applications (Giftworks, Dominion, Trackstar preferred). Candidates will possess the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds, ages and lifestyles required. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for the administrative needs of the executive team, and the offices of Funds Development, Marketing and Human Resource.
