Welcome to the Older Adult Activity Center!
UMCH offers a variety of activities and services for adults 50 years of age and older to maintain or improve clients’ quality of life and overall well-being. For participants aged 60+ UMCH provides assistance with meals, transportation, health services, and more at no cost to those who qualify. Participants will find a welcoming and caring environment at our Senior Center, where they feel a sense of community and belonging. In all that we do, we seek to help fulfill the needs of the mind, body, and spirit.

UMCH offers Kent County adults, age 60+, affordable transportation solutions. Qualifying, older persons can schedule a ride to a medical appointment, the grocery store, and other essential destinations.

United Methodist Community House is excited to offer three new fitness classes for all Older Adults 50+. These classes are designed to get you moving, stretching, and socializing with community.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren
UMCH hosts Kent County’s only formal Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support group. This learning and peer support style group focuses on the topics and issues impacting older caregivers most. It is also a fun way to connect with other and your grandchildren during our gatherings and field trips.
CONGREGATE Meals are available to all older adults aged 60+ and residing in Kent County.
