Child Development Center
We are committed to giving all families access to excellent child development services that help prepare children to thrive in school and throughout their lives.
Youth Programs
We provide opportunities to stay busy, learn new skills, strengthen social relationships, reinforce learning, and to have new experiences while parents are at work.
Senior Programs
We offer a welcoming and caring environment at our Senior Center, where older adults can feel a sense of community and belonging.
Fresh Market
The Fresh Market at UMCH is the newest initiative by United Methodist Community House designed to offer affordable access to healthy, locally sourced food to Kent County residents while supporting Michigan growers and good food systems.

The 21ST CENTURY PROGRAM is offered right in Grand Rapids Public Schools to provide school-aged youth with an opportunity to do homework and have structured recreational activities. Snacks are provided and the staff help create an atmosphere of fun and learning.
